Born in 1963 in the Land of Hornbill, Mona developed her interest towards art at a young age. She pursued her studies in Fine Arts at Sarawak Fine Arts School under the guidance of the late Madam Chong Liew Syn. Her artwork medium of choice is watercolour and oil paint. She is a member of Sarawak Fine Arts Society and actively participates in their annual art exhibitions.
