A Sarawakian with heart of an artist since young, Aloysius Ho was born in Mukah in the year 1948. He attended MPIK, Kuala Lumpur for his education in art. In order to further elevate his skills and open his mind to different aspects and possibilities in various forms of art, he enrolled himself in different art courses and workshops such as Art and Handicrafts, Pottery, Painting and Computer Aided Design, Traditional Malay Wood Carving, Graphic Art and Iban Basketry. Aloysius is keen in exposing himself to new elements regarding art and expresses it in countless different ways. His profound interest in art eventually led him to join the Sarawak Artists Society and was appointed to be the President (1993-1998 and 2011-2012). He has participated in numerous joint exhibitions locally including Kuala Lumpur, Brunei Darussalam as well as Kaohsiung, Taiwan.
